Saturation unit SU-6000 consists of three columns. In the first column the excessive gas fraction is removed from water with the help of vacuum pump. In the second and third columns the water is saturated with carbon dioxide. It is designed for water saturation with CO2 with further feeding of the carbonated water to the automatic filling machine.
Water is saturated with gas by spraying the water entering the saturation columns through the ejector, as well as by water flowing through the plate-type meshes. Pressure and qualitative saturation are provided by the force pump. Level sensors control lower and upper water levels in the columns. At the excessive water level the water feeding is switched off; if the water level is insufficient, the force pump is automatically activated and provides uninterruptable work of the whole system. To improve indexes for water saturation with CO2, the water fed for carbonation should have the temperature of +4 degrees Celsius.
Distinctive features:
- Water level control with sensors
- Unit design – food-grade stainless steel
- Safe work under pressure is provided by monitoring system and relief valve
- Constant water pressure in the system is guaranteed by force pump
